Some days ago a friend, a person who is very close to me, pointed me to a very interesting speech on nutrition and diet. The speech was held by Doctor Roy Martina (helped by Roberto Re, who was the assistant and translator in that case) and the topic was how to achieve more energy and vitality during daily life and, more generally, how to live a more longer, healthier and happier life.I’m going to start an informative stream on this topic based on the speech above and other understandings and experiments made on myself about what I’ve been eating and behaving in terms of “lifestyle” in the last 10 years. I hope this will be useful for me as a reminder and study reference and as a point of starting for further creative discussions.The purpose of this is giving the reader an opportunity to “wake up” and start listening what our body is always trying to tell us.In essence, becoming more aware about our body as a base to understand better ourselves.Hope you’ll enjoy itLet’s start!Tip1 – Keep it fun Do not be too much “radical or fundamentalist” about this, life should be fun, thus, keep that fun on the way or you will lose your goals.Punishing you too much is the first cause of failure for what you are trying to achieve, if there’s no fun, your body/mind system will organize soon itself to get rid of it as some kind of “defense”.Given this, in the beginning being a bit “straight and focused” is necessary, but do not forget to reward you sometimes for your achievements, as a rule of thumb, keep your free day every week to reward yourself but be straight on the other six.Another good news is that if you start “hardly”, after a while all the rest will be “downhill and easy” but keep in mind to not go 100% radical, or you will blind yourself by another mean.The most important is continuity, so do not quit your awareness, your being present on this.Results will arrive, observe your past life and look: often results arrive when you keep going but forget about it.First work is to memorize this.Thanks for your time.
